The “Computer Forensics in Law and Business” (CFLB™)
two-hour seminar was developed to provide an introduction to the
exciting and growing field of computer forensics and electronic discovery.
Originally the sole domain of law enforcement computer specialists,
this discipline has now become an important capability for all law
firms, paralegals, private investigators, corporate I.T. and security
officers.
The “Computer Forensics in Law and Business” (CFLB™)
seminar is a two-hour presentation with the latest information
concerning the growing need for properly trained and certified
computer forensic specialists. During the seminar, you will discover
what it takes to become a member of the next generation of “Digital
Detectives”. You will be taken through the initial
steps of gathering electronic evidence and also shown how to
properly
preserve the evidence for use in court.
These free seminars are held on tuesday evenings
on the weeks for which the regular forensics classes are run.
Check the class schedule for
dates and venues.
Here are just a few of the topics that will be covered during
the seminar:
- What is “Digital Evidence” and where can it be
found?
- What can Digital Forensic experts find on a digital device?
- What are the initial steps to gather “electronic evidence”?
- How to “forensically preserve” a digital device.
- What type of tools does a Digital Forensic expert use?
- How
does Computer Forensics, Inc. process electronic media?
- How do we present “digital evidence” in court?
Attendees
will receive the following items during the seminar:
- A CD-ROM containing a fully functional demo of computer forensic
software with a “live” casefile.
- A seminar
guide containing reference materials and checklists.
The “Computer Forensics in Law and Business” (CFLB™)
seminar can be tailored to meet corporate, government and law firm
