Mr. Bhar is academically qualified in Information Systems, with a specialisation in electronic commerce. Michael is one of the most experienced information security and privacy professionals in the information protection industry. More than 15 years have been spent performing information security assessment, risk analysis, compliance gap analysis, risk remediation and implementation project planning and management. Mike has been engaged in a Sr. Technical role for two of the most high-profile identity theft incidents in recent history:
TJX Corporation - (100M+ credit card transactions stolen)
Mike was engaged to provide post incident analysis and control implementation in order to prepare for a VeriSign PCI audit. With his help, TJX received PCI Certification.
United States Department of Homeland Security (400,000+ Transportation Security Administration names stolen).
Director Chertoff chartered the DHS Information Protection Committee (IPC), to investigate the incident, and provide a formal report with recommendations. The IPC decided to bring in a staff of Sr. Information Security Consultants from private industry (but that had NIST 800-53 experience) to help shed light on possible security control enhancements that could be implemented into their policies, procedures, and certification and accreditation criteria. Michael was selected for this prestigious group.

Michael M. has been in the information technology field for over 20 years and has worked with operating systems since MS-DOS 2.2 (as well as PC-DOS and TRS-DOS). Presently he holds the CISSO, CPTE, CEH, CDRP, CISA, and CFED. Michael is currently the Chief Security Officer for the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Mr. M. has been involved with aspects of information technology ranging from network administration to telecommunications. He was the Senior Field Engineer in charge of construction of the 100,000 square foot UUNET co-location facility in Billerica, MA, and the senior implementation engineer in charge of the construction of the cell towers/Lucent Mod Cells in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio region. Mr. M. went on to head up the translations and major escalations team in Coudersport, PA for Adelphia Business Solutions. In addition to his duties at the Altoona VA Hospital, Mr. M. is a consultant and Security Trainer for Mile2, where he heads a team of developers in Network Administration, Network Security, Information Technology Audits, SOX and GLBA Audits, and a wide variety of other IS functions. He has training in a variety of other financial areas such as Bank Secrecy, Armed Robbery, and Disaster Recovery. Mr. M. is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, is on the Business Industry and Infrastructure Committee for the South Central Terrorism Task Force, and is a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Team. Duane Anderson has had considerable experience in the IT industry for the last two decades. His special focus is undertaking training and consultation to match business, training, and public needs for related IT security. While in college Duane developed and sold proprietary software applications in addition to providing consulting for large agribusiness enterprises. He then made the transition to the IT security field as a full-time administrator, consultant, and instructor. During this time Duane worked for most of the US and several foreign military branches, U.S government agencies, banking and regulated industries, and Fortune 500 companies. Duane contributed to the coordination and execution of IT counter-hacking & security courses for the US Marine Corps, US Army, US Air Force, U.S. Treasury, Sprint, IBM, Washington Mutual, and Service Canada. His ability to absorb and understand the general operation of organizations has enabled him to organize his experience into a focused approach, bringing unique and valuable solutions to client needs.
